OUR SERVICES

Here is the ‘shortlist’ of what we offer. Contact us for more details and what we’re working on next!

INGEST & LIBRARY CONTENT CURATION

We’re ready to receive your content sent directly to our services. Send us your existing videos, captions, subtitles, and metadata, and our team will work with you to ensure the best assets are used for packaging & delivery.

AUTO INGEST & MONITORING

If your content is in a ready state, our automation can monitor and receive your assets. Because this is fully automated, ingestion is rapid and without any human interaction (unless you want it). See below our “Auto Re-Packaging” service that can then automatically re-package & deliver to new specifications. When paired together, entire libraries of content can be re-purposed.

DIGITAL MASTERING

Our mastering team can enrich your content for today’s market, a skill they’ve honed over the past 10 years. Adding Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) markers, trimming, frame grab selections, creation of textless & semi-textless elements, creating forced narratives, inverse telecine (IVTC) to restore to native frame rates, conformance checking and repair for audio, and captions/subtitles, and more.

QUALITY CONTROL

Our mastering team has been doing QC work for over ten years, meeting the needs of Apple iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, DirecTV, and many more of the most discerning digital platforms that exist. While QC-ing, they’re also ready to enhance your content with Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) markers, thumbnail image extraction, and more.

CONFORMANCE CHECK & REPAIR

Our mastering team will complete QC to ensure all captions, subtitles, and audio tracks are in sync with the picture. If needed, we will adjust your assets to fully align the consumer experience on all digital platforms.

VIDEO & AUDIO TRANSCODING

We utilize industry standard transcoders from Telestream, Dolby & AWS Elemental, creating any container/codec dimension at any frame rate. Because each digital platform is unique, all transcoding is tested and validated to meet the specifications required by that platform. No longer are you limited to only the ‘flavors’ that are available – we’ll create and deliver to the exact specification(s) required.

Additionally during transcoding, we offer the following options:

  • Removal of bars & tone, slate, textless materials & extra audio tracks

  • Removal of commercial blacks

  • Closed captioning embedding & extraction

  • Subtitle burn-ins

  • Forensic and visible watermarking (logos, ratings, etc)

  • Pre & post-roll stitching

  • Audio muxing/extracting

  • ...and much more!

Some common video containers & codecs we offer:

  • QuickTime (MOV) - ProRes 422(SQ), 422(HQ), 4444 (HQ), 4444(XQ)

  • MPEG-4 (MP4) - h.264, h.265

  • Transport Stream (TS) - h.264, MPEG-2

  • Material Exchange Format (MXF) - XDCAM

CLOSED CAPTIONING & SUBTITLE CONVERSIONS

Our automation can convert closed captioning and subtitles to dozens of common (and not so common) formats. Such as SCC, TTML, SRT, VTT, STL, CAP & MCC, and at any timecode. Because we’re heavily automated, we are able to stitch pre & post-rolls or re-time for removal of commercial blacks, and deliver as a side-car or embedded into the video.

METADATA VALIDATION & CONVERSIONS

Before creating and delivering your content, metadata can be validated to ensure launch windows are not illogical, identifiers are unique, and that sequencing within a series does not have repeats, for example.

Every digital platform is different – be it an SVOD, AVOD, MVPD, EST or your own internal platform – we treat each of them uniquely. Even where standards are used, such as CableLabs or MovieLabs (MMC/MEC), each platform still has unique needs. This is where our automation will create any XML, JSON or CSV as required, in any combination, including delivering MDUs (Metadata Updates).

PACKAGING

All video & audio transcoding, closed captioning/subtitle conversions, metadata conversions, file naming and directory structures are created during the packaging process . Being fully automated ensures that this process is error-free, meeting the exacting standards of today’s and tomorrow’s digital platforms.

No two digital platforms are identical, so all platform packaging is created uniquely, thus providing extreme flexibility.

Some example deliveries from a single ingested package:

  • 1 QuickTime ProRes (1920x1080/23.98), 1 SCC, 1 JPG, 1 Apple TV Subscription XML, 1 Universal Media Catalog (UMC) Feed, 1 Universal Media Catalog (UMC) Avail Feed

  • 4 MP4s (1920x1080/23.98, 1280x720/23.98, 960x540/23.98, 640x360/23.98), 1 WebVTT, 1 TTML, 3 custom XMLs, 1 JPG

  • 1 Transport Stream (TS) with embedded CC (1920x1080/23.98), 1 SCC, 1 WAV, 2 CableLab XMLs, 3 JPGs (1920x1080, 1280x720, 960x540)

  • 1 MXF HDCAM (1280x720/59.94) with embedded CC, 1 custom XML, 1 custom CSV

  • 1 MP4 (640x360/23.98), 1 WAV, 1 SCC, 1 custom JSON

AUTO RE-PACKAGING

Our highly-automated system can utlize assets from an existing library of packages and re-package with new specifications to make it as simple or as complex as you require.

Some examples of re-packaging:

  • Transcode video with embedded CC, convert the metadata from CableLab format to a custom JSON

  • Transcode the video while removing commercial blacks, add a branding watermark, convert the metadata to a custom format

  • Extract the CC from video, convert to TTML, transcode the video to a new format & frame rate, transcode only audio tracks 12 & 13 (dynamically selected because they contain English stereo) to WAV files

INTELLIGENT DELIVERY

Timely delivery is critical. Your business requires it. Our system can deliver via Aspera HSTS, AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Apple Transporter, SFTP, Verizon Media, and more, including API calls – while balancing changing priorities. We’re able to deliver to any platform – be it an OTT service, MVPD, SVOD, AVOD, or anything in-between. We’re ready to deliver to any platform now or in the future.

FEEDS, PLANNERS, AVAILS & REPORTING

Because today’s complex platforms require advanced planning, our systems can create Feeds, Planners & Avails in standard & custom XML, JSON, Excel or CSV formats. Detailed delivery reports will track all aspects of where and when your content delivered.
